Paper Pastiche

This is a card I made for a swap with my Stampin Up upline's team (if that make sense to anyone). Anyway the idea came from a video I saw on a blog called stampwithtami. She used different foliage but other than that it's pretty much the same. Kind of unlike me to make a card just like someone else's but it worked out okay.

I thought I'd try to resurrect my blog. Again! Here are a few things I've been doing. One of the main projects I worked on with a friend creating 28 teacher thank you bags I forgot to take pictures of and I cannot locate my original. I will post it if and when I find it.

This is a card I made my husband for his birthday using a Mojo Monday 130 sketch. I've been following this blog for awhile and I love their sketches. I've used several of their sketches for personal use and thought I give it a try posting one.

Here are a few examples of the kind of cards that I have been creating over the past few months. The Cricut device, in particular, has revolutionized paper-crafting for me, and I hope to have lots to share about it, plus plenty of other tools and techniques. I hope you'll join me!

Yeah! I'm finally up and running! I am so glad to be done designing my blog. I can usually get ar0und ok on a computer but this was stretching it a bit. Thankfully my husband helped me through. I'll improve and add as I get more used to how things work.

I'm looking forward to working with the Lime Light Design team. This will also be a new experience for me but I'm looking forward to streching my skills and meeting new online friends as well as helping charities through Lime Light.
